Pan Qinglin
Honorary President
Pan Qinglin serves as Honorary President of BRICS MAGAZINE. He has held successive positions as Member of the 10th, 11th and 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Member of the Standing Committee of the 8th and 9th China Overseas Chinese Federation; Vice Chairman of the 7th and 8th Tianjin Overseas Chinese Federation; Vice President of Tianjin Association for International Friendly Liaison; Honorary Doctor of Political Science of the National University of Mongolia. He is widely acknowledged as a respected people-to-people diplomatic envoy at home and abroad.
In 1969, Pan Qinglin enlisted in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy. In 1985, he pursued further studies overseas. At the 1993 World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, he was awarded the title of Outstanding Overseas Chinese Entrepreneur alongside Mr. Henry Fok Ying Tung. After returning to China, he devoted himself to the nation’s reform, opening-up and modernization drive, facilitating the introduction of hundreds of billions of foreign investment. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, he has received a number of social and professional honors.
With decades of engagement in people-to-people diplomacy, Pan Qinglin has traveled to dozens of countries across five continents and forged friendly ties with heads of state, senior political figures and global celebrities. He has attended international events on education and environmental protection at the United Nations Headquarters and maintained amicable interactions with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and former Taiwan regional leader Ma Ying-jeou. Actively advancing the Belt and Road Initiative, he advocates the development philosophy of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the vision of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, acting as a vital bridge for inter-civilization dialogue and global friendly cooperation.
As a three-term Member of the CPPCC National Committee, he performs his duties diligently with broad vision and profound insight. He has put forward numerous forward-looking and practical proposals on rule of law, people’s livelihood, social governance and theoretical development. Due to his prominent status and influence, he has long been a focal point of media attention during the annual Two Sessions. He has been interviewed by dozens of mainstream media outlets including CCTV, Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily, Hong Kong Satellite TV and Macau Satellite TV. He always takes the opportunity of media interviews to present China’s development achievements and enhance international understanding of the country.

Xue Feng is a senior media professional, international culture observer, and documentary planning director with more than ten years of experience in international communication and content operation. He currently serves as Director of BRICS (CHINA) GROUP LIMITED, Editor-in-Chief of BRICS magazine, Chief Producer of BRICS Talk, and Chief Planner of the documentary War Photographer.
In his early career, he worked extensively in news editing and international cultural reporting, contributing to content production for a number of mainstream media outlets at home and abroad, and accumulating rich experience in on-the-ground interviews and content planning. He has conducted field reporting in numerous regions across the globe, focusing on regional development, cross-civilizational exchanges, people-to-people cooperation and social issues, and produced many in-depth reports with significant industry influence. With a professional vision and rigorous approach, he has developed a consistent reporting style and built a strong reputation in the media sector.
In media operation and content development, Xue Feng possesses comprehensive expertise in content planning, production and management. As the lead person in charge of BRICS magazine, he oversees its launch preparation, content planning, layout design and brand building, and has facilitated the establishment of an editorial network covering BRICS countries and emerging markets. In cross-media content production, he leads the creation of the high-end dialogue program BRICS Talk, inviting diplomatic envoys to China, representatives of international organizations, cultural scholars, artists, entrepreneurs and distinguished guests from various sectors to discuss topics including cross-civilizational mutual learning, cultural innovation, economic and trade cooperation and youth exchange.
